Program Structure

By attending weekly meetings, Male Parents will have the opportunity to develop their parenting effectiveness.  At sites in Ector, Howard, Reeves and Ward counties, presentations will be made to the Fathers by representatives of local and state agencies that have a vested interest in fathers becoming more effective as partners in the care giving process. Fathers will have their questions answered and discussions will be open. Everyone will have an opportunity to participate.

There is an agreement among people involved in Child Care Development, Education and other professions throughout the nation, that two actively involved parents provide a more positive environment than a single parent environment. We believe that by providing Fathers and Future Fathers with support and Supportive Services that they will make significant contributions to the lives of their children. We also believe that by implementing the program described above that some of the needs of Fathers and their children will be met.
